In Honor of Pride Month
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to share this poetry written by my lovely wife in honor of PRIDE month.
She wrote this with ALL of you in mind:
Another day marches on
Blanketing sunlight over everything
Heartbeats stirred and awaken
Slowly, beautifully
The world fills with footsteps
And stories, and narratives
Born of passing conversations
And deep, rooting connections
There is a universal truth
Spoken not nearly loud enough
We are the result of our choices
We are how we love
If you love fiercely and honestly
You are valid
If you love unbiased and unashamed
You are perfect
Long story short
All there is is love
Love for the easy and the light
Love for the intricate and complex
Love for happiness
And the chase us fools get lost in
Love for love
In all facets, in all forms
Day by day we soldier on
Past the pitfalls and the hurdles
Speak the truth and believe it
And love wins
So wave your flag and raise your colors
Feel alive with delighted hues
Saturate the world with your rainbow soul
And let love win
