My Profitable Niche Qualifier Questionaire-check list

Ask yourself these 10 simple questions before choosing your niche. This is what I do before I choose my niches and it has several me well over the years and I think it will be a solid roadmap for most newbies to the game of internet and affiliate marketing.

Really think about what is being asked before answering the questions below. Begin...

1. Do people in the niche you're thinking about selecting have a desperate problem they need an immediate remedy?

Circle Yes or No. If yes, what type of solution(s) could solve their problem?_________________________________

2. Is it an evergreen niche or issue that will be around for a very long time?

3. Will marketing this niche makes you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable? Is it legal and ethical and won't get you in trouble?

4. Is there sufficient demand based on the search volume on the major search engines?

  • Circle Yes or No.

5. Is your target niche audience easy to identify and find online or offline? Is it easy to find out where they hang out online? i.e. forums, blogs, social media sites, etc.

  • Circle Yes or No.

6. Does your niche have multiple products that you can marketing or just one or two? Can you buy these products online and offline? Can they be purchased at your local big box retail store? Are these products high-ticket items, low-ticket items or both?

  • Circle Yes or No.

7. Are their others currently competing in your niche? Can you provide a Unique Selling Proposition that will separate you from the pack?

8. Are there any merchants online that have affiliate programs in your niche so you don't have to waste time creating your own product? (at least until you generate enough money, then I recommended you create own product)

9. Do you have adequate interest or enthusiasm in the niche to produce content your target would be interested in reading? If not, do you have the financial resources to outsource your content creation?

10. Right now, off the top of your head, can you list at least 20 top ideas or subject areas you think you write about right now? You need to be about to think of new topics all the time because you will need to produce new content to your site regularly to get ranked and STAY RANKED in Google or the other major search engines.

If you answered YES to most of the questions above, at least 14 of 17, then you may move forward to pursue this niche. Remember, you'll need traffic and products to generate sales so make sure your website, content, and marketing ads are keyword rich (not stuffed) and SEO-friendly.
