Hurricane Sandy struck the New Jersey Shore Hard.
Eight days without power and now 60 mile per hour winds & rain again today.
Many homes still have flood damaged. Many of us found out the hard way we were not covered for flood or wind damage. What a bummer.
This Holiday Season made me so grateful that New Jersey is off the odd/even days waiting for gasoline for our cars and gas generators. Gas Stations looked like military bases when Governor Christie ordered police presence for the people who cut long lines and started fights.
For Example, one woman flashed her breast to get a man to let her cut a gas line.
Wegmans Food Market was the only store open the day after Hurricane Sandy. Us cabin fever people had to get out of the house. While getting ice, I witnessed one of the longest lines for coffee in my lifetime. A fight broke out, when several people cut the coffee line and the store closed early to keep the peace.
I am so glad that even with the high unemployment, people are still shopping for their loved ones and making ends meet, when ends are not meeting for many.
As an entrepreneur for 24 years+ I am proud to see such beautiful-sharp minded affiliates here on WA giving great words of encouragement and support for each other.
