Behind The Scenes: My Blindness And Wealthy Affiliate
Some of you know that I am visually impaired. And I am certain that you have questions going through your minds about how I plan to get my web site going, and how I'm writing out this blog. I want to address these questions in this blog, and perhaps even get a discussion going if any of you have additional questions. My blindness should not be hidden, and I believe you all deserve to know what's going on, since you are such a great community.
Firstly, I am constructing my website just like the rest of you are, using the same technology. I am using an iPhone in this case, since I don't have access to a computer at the moment. Every iPhone comes with an accessibility feature called VoiceOver, which reads everything aloud to me, so that I can do things like build the website that I'm building now, and write out this blog. I've been using iPhones since 2010, and I can honestly tell you that since VoiceOver has matured so much on iOS, it is doing a fantastic job in helping me do what needs to be done with my new website.
The next thing I want to address is getting visuals onto my site, and I think this is the only challenge I will be dealing with. Obviously, in order for my website to appeal to its viewers, I will need to have visuals. There's really no way around that. In order to tackle that challenge, I would just need some sighted assistance, as I have no way of knowing which images and graphics I should post on my site. I already have that kind of help in place, however, so I shouldn't have too many issues with visuals.
If any of you have any additional questions about my blindness, please feel free to ask. There is really no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to this. As I said above, this is an incredible community, and I just want to give you all a chance to see what's happening behind the scenes as a totally blind individual.

Dang Michael....this is impressive and inspirational. I guess I have never really thought about your situation and the obsticles you would have to overcome. To be honest, I can tell your writing is better than mine and I have more limitations in my pea-brain than you have without sight.
