Please help me with host gator
So I decided to purchase host gator because I was recomended I use it from someone from WA and I purchased the Baby package for just 1 month to see if I liked it for 38$ and so far it makes no sence and I can see no use in it ?? I wanted to add a subscriber list to my website and I can make no sence or see any purpose in host gator any suggestions please

Mosera, what was the reason did you decide to purchase a hosting package with hostgator?.. Don't get me wrong I have a hosting package with them as well, but it is for something that I had before I came to WA. If you were advised to buy a hosting package outside WA then I would disagree.
First WA is FREE hosting if you a premium member. Second the support staff are very good, third I would assume that it is optimized for the members here at WA and last but not least. You can host 25 Websites for your monthly premium membership...
As to the package you bought at Hostgator, that is a basic package and I believe you will pay more when you include other domain names. Here in WA you do not have to pay any extra it is all included..
Maybe rethink your decision..
I'm no expert but I believe host gator is basically the same as Wealthy affiliate without the training, support and community of well intentioned members. They "host" websites. Wealthy Affiliate, of which you are already a member, hosts websites. That leads us to an obvious question. Why would a Wealthy Affiliate member recommend a competitor? I'm scratching my head. If you want to add a subscription form to your website to capture emails, that can be done with a number of "free" plug-ins. I recently installed "ultimate social media" as recommended by Kyle. It offers a sign-up option along with social media buttons. If you want something more sophisticated I've heard good things about Convert Kit which is available in wordpress. It has a 30 day free trial and then a fee. I believe it's reasonable like $19.00...don't quote me on that. Host gator may have something similar to this which may have lead to the confusion but what you are describing sounds like their hosting platform which you really don't need unless you decide to leave wealthy affiliate. I did not know I wanted to add a subscriber list to my website and someone mentioned HostGator I thought adding my website to HostGator would allow me to do that I did not know it was to build websites so I wasted my money I want to add a subscriber list to my website so that when someone views my front page they have the option to join I posted this question before and someone commented that I use host gator I had no clue what HostGator was ...
