Adding an events page using Google Calender
So you have wordpress installed and now you want to add a calender of events but its a hassle to have to go back and forth right, so use google calenders. You can create a public calender, and then when you update it you have updated your calender on your site too.
First create your calender. Set it up as public, and then your going to get a code to embed it. Don;t worry it's not as hard as it seems. If you already have a calender please go to it now.
Choose the calender you want to show on the site, and next to it open the drop down menu and choose calender settings. Make the calender public and then make sure you save!
Go back into the calender settings and copy the html code. it's sort of in the middle. Keep looking, it's next to the colored calender in the sort of lower center of the page.
In the TEXT EDITOR either of a new post of a new page paste the code you got at the google calender settings page.
At this point I save the draft and preview the page. ( I put my calender on its own page)
Tada! You now have a page with your calender of events! Go rock on!
