I published my first book on Kindle Amazon!
Hello friends,
I did it.
My ebook about archery is finally finished and online:
I am super happy about it!
How do you like the title?
None other than Kyle himself came up with it!
I was lucky to meet him in chat while I was thinking about a title for my book and just asked him.
He asked me some questions in return and had the title within moments.
Tells who is a real marketing professional here! ;)
If you are interested in reading my book, or if you want to help me with some reviews on Amazon (it's like everywhere else, no reviews no or only little sales), you can find the link to my book on my homepage (or send me a pm).
At the moment it is available for $0 as a promotion.
Important! As a member of WA I don't want you to buy my book!
If it's not on a free promotion and you want a copy, either because you want to learn about archery or want to help me, just let me know and I will contact you and give you a free copy of the book.
You are my WA family and I don't want to earn money by taking it from you guys!
Have you written and published a book yet?
How did it go?
Would be interesting to learn from your experiences.
How you advertised it, etc.
Your friend,
Moritz

Thank you and I really agree.
Kyle did a great job with the title and the designer an equally great job with the cover.
Congrats, that is awesome! I keep thinking that I need to write a book but it seems like such a daunting task. I don't even know where to begin.
I can easily write 1200-1500 word posts now. I don't think its the amount of words I need to write that is the issue, it is where to start and what topic to start with. And then how to organize it all.
Thank you very much.
It's actually not that different from what we are doing here.
We get more and more used to writing longer posts and then it's not that far from writing a book.
My book is a compact guide, so it's maybe only about 7000 words long.
I guess I should just get started instead of always putting it off! For now I was thinking of just coming up with something in pdf format to give away on my site to start a list.
A book is definitely not written quickly, I found out.
I started with it before I came to WA and tried to finish a chapter each day.
I am not really sure when I started with it, but maybe in February or March.
Originally, I wanted to publish it in May, but I got sidetracked (by WA and other stuff) and the fine tuning took longer than expected.
Then I needed the cover, format conversion and proof reading (the latter I made myself, but not only once to be sure).
That's definitely a great thing to do, too!
I might offer a chapter of the book for free to build my list.
Don't want to offer the whole book for free. ;)
