Drama and Going to New Zealand soon

I have not written a blog here in a while. This will be the first one for 2020.
In mid-December 2019 I was in a play presented by a performance class by one of Montreal's acting studios. It was an inner journey with a bit of tormoil for me as I had not done any play acting in thirty years. I have to say I felt somewhat rusty throughout the process but I got through it. I had to keep going no matter what. The project did take up a good portion of my time but was still worth it.
The other news is that I am preparing to go to New Zealand from March 11 until April 1. So far I have only booked a bed and breakfast in Auckland for five days. The rest of the time I will likely be camping on the Northern Island with a traveling campion. Yes I'm going into the country blindly but I have been told most New Zealanders are on the friendly side. Being in the Southern side of the world will be a new venture for me.
Any suggestions for what to do while I'm there are welcome.
