Why is Jetpack blacklisted from the Wealthy Affiliate hosting platform?

Wow thanks guys I'm going to remove this now. What do you recommend for site speed and webstats other than GSC?

i tend ot use independent analytics plugin for a quick looksee - but google analytics and search console to dive into the details...
sitespeed should be good enough to get you fast enough for google...
it looks like jetpack is another casualty of hosting here....

Thanks again for your help. Disabling Jetpack caused my social sharing buttons to disappear, what do you recommend to use for this that won't affect site speed?

i tend to use ultimate blocks plugin - and add the social block ...
i have heard add to any plugin is on the blacklist...

Thanks I have used add to any in the past. I'll try ultimate blocks

due to the way wa hosting works and how jetpack works they are incompatible...
jetpack want to talk home all the time and wa hosting sees this as malware...
and it is a heavy overloaded plguni that used to slow down your site..
what features do you want from it...

Yeah, don't use.

Looks like Jeff has you covered.

I'm not sure why WA doesn't allow it but I can only assume it has the potential to cause problems but again I don't know. Just trying to help.

I did find an article where a member said that Jetpack has certain guidelines when it comes to advertising with Google.

Maybe this can help

I believe that it has never been recommended, my friend!

Jeff

I am using it on other sites I have hosted here, for some reason my new website has a problem with it, when I try to activate the site stats part of the plugin this message shows up "Plugin jetpack is blacklisted and can not be used on the Wealthy Affiliate Hosting Network"

That likely means that WA has blacklisted it then, my friend.

Can I upload an article I have in google docs to my website via content editor? If so how may I do this?

I would copy and paste on Site content just to be sure it is added to my word metric. I would finalize my editing here, indicate the website I want it posted. When I am satisfied with the editing, it is now time to press publish and it will land on your website.

Be easier to copy and paste would it not.

2500 words is a lot of copying and pasting. Times that by 100 pages. No thank you

Hi guys I'm wondering if my content is 100% unique. I've submitted content using WA software which has plagiarism checker installed. Upon checking with other free online tools,

Hi Dave,

I use Grammarly, smallseo.tools/plagiarism-checker, and duplichecker.com to check my content's originality. Even so, I still click on the ABC icon in the Site Content before publishing my content, just to make sure. I know that we can't trust it 100%, so that's why I use multiple free plagiarism checker tools.

Try Grammarly pro or copyscape. However you are unlikely to get every piece of content 100 percent unique. You may add quotes or a three word phrase say "on the other hand" which will be on loads of sites.

Yep, please check this resource, however unsure of the percentage value

https://www.grammarly.com/plagiarism-checker

Hi - I personally believe that the plagiarism checker here is not very reliable. I have offered feedback on lots of sites and found duplicate content.

However, a post that is 97% duplicate would mean it's almost entirely copied and pasted, and I am sure you would know if you had done that.

Its not your Privacy Policy or Affiliate Disclosure is it? Obviously, these are legal documents and have standard wording.

Hi thanks for your reply. It's a 4000 word article that I wrote myself based off 4 different articles I researched. I know duplicate content does rank if it is exact. Especially for products.

Hi guys,

I joined last month. So far I have 10 posts on my blog with nearly 11,000 words in total.

I've read in many different forums and groups over the years t

Exactly as Mikael mentions below, but have you also checked your Google Search Console to see if there are any errors, warnings or penalties etc? As your website is 2 years old, with a lot of backlinks, and used to be redirected to another website, it might take Google awhile to recover, as it might have seen the activity as spammy back then. But now you have actual content on your website, it shouldn’t take long to move up the ranks. I’m presuming you have checked GSC that the latest 10 posts you have added over the last 2 months have been indexed by Google? Are you also using Jaaxy to track your keywords and ranking?

Thanks for your reply.

Content is indexed. A couple of java errors I'm trying to resolve with AMP. No penalties to speak of.

I need to set up Jaaxy. Didn't know about it. Is that part of the premium service?

I had 26 impressions for my web pages today according to my GSC. Have had 4 clicks this week with a 2.7% CTR in the last 7 days. It's a start.

Just realised Jaaxy has tracking, sorting this out now. Thanks again

I have found one page one number one ranking in Yahoo and same keyword is page one number 4 in Bing. Thanks again

It is impossible to say how many blog posts you need to get traffic. And traffic is a broad term - do you mean 10 visits per day or thousands of visits per day.

If you mean thousands per day, you should expect a lot more than 20 posts.

Overall, it is just impossible to give an exact number as it depends on so many different things like the quality of your content, the competition in the niche, if you promote the content or not, how good are you at optimizing them, how good you are at keyword research, etc.

Some people might see some traffic after 20 or fewer posts and others might have to write 100+ posts to start seeing a bit of traffic.

Thanks for your answer. I'm running a small ad on facebook for 3 dollars a day. So far I'm getting 40+ visits a day from the ad. I've had a couple of clicks from my Instagram and Pinterest page also.

I was really asking to see about 3 to 5 visits a day from google at first.

My competitors don't have content like I do. They are typical Ecom stores. So little content with a picture of a product.

for the traffic you are asking it is very likely it is possible with 20 posts or less. But again it all depends on the other things I mentioned.

Great thanks again

Hi guys really sorry if this has been answered before. I may have overlooked this in the training.

Should my website have a static home page? Or is it recommended to se

There is no hard and fast rule, However it is better to have a beautiful static page and include your latest posts on that page.

Whenever you write the posts, they will get updated on the homepage too.

Personally, I feel that it is better than having just the rolling blogs one after the other.

Mostly it depends on the look and feels you are going for and if you have a static message for all to see. In my example, I have an affiliate marketing blog so I offer a few words and my lead capture forms as a landing page and then have my blog separate. On my Local SEO company, it was important to rank my front page and appear more like a business than a blog. It too has a static page. Some of my other planned blogs will likely not requite static front pages.

Thank you sir. May I send you a PM I'd like your opinion on my website to see what you would recommend. If this is breaking WA rules I will post my web link here instead.

Thanks again
