Slow progress. but its still progress!
Hi,
So, i've been with WA for nearly 5 months now having joined new years day 2016 as a new years resolution to make positive changes to my lifestyle. I thought i would share with you my journey so far...
Progress has been slow but determined and steady. I work full time in law enforcement with shifts so its difficult sometimes, juggling social/family life with home business, but sacrifices have to be made.
So what have i achieved thus far?
Well, when i first started, i had no idea about starting an online business let alone how to make money online. With WA i have learned SO MUCH, its blew my mind and opened my eyes to all sorts of possibilities. I understand that this isn't a 'get rich quick' scheme and never joined for this. If theres one thing i knew, it was that building a successful business will take time and dedication. WA help build the determination by helping me achieve results and learn without getting stressed and lost along the way.
I have achieved self discipline, determination and a willingness to help others succeed which is a massive plus for working within the community here.
What have i learned?
Wow... where do i begin.. I have learned how to develop my own website and build a business from the ground up. How to get ranked through the use of keywords and various other methods of SEO. How to make money through affiliate marketing, PPC, email marketing. How to leverage business in many different methods online. The list just goes on and on.. learned so much in just a few months and the best part i'm still eager to learn more!
With the help of everything available here at WA i have managed to create my first website www.waystolearnpiano.com, a website showcasing the best and most cost effective ways to learn piano, as an alternative to expensive tuition fees. Piano is something i started learning two years ago and it became a passion of mine, so its easy to work with this niche and i've found using your passion to develop a business the best way to go.
I have a question...
I know it takes time but i would be interested to know if any of you have been making any decent income from your own online business after 5 months. Is there anyone out there at the same position as me earning any decent commissions that would like to share their success? This would help keep my sights on the goal and i'm sure others in my position would like to hear some 5 month success stories too. Share them in the comments box below with your website, achievement and how long you have been with WA.
Do i have any success story myself to tell?
It might not be a big financial gain, but i earned my first commission just last week! I sold a piano training software and earned $8. I was ecstatic, it wasn't much but showed that my online business could actually work and was a glimpse at success. I was proud that all the hard work is starting to pay off.
I am also proud of the recognition and engagements i am receiving through my website as a result of social media. I am getting 'organic' reach and engagement which is great.
My plans for the upcoming 3 months
I plan to start optimising my website and achieve greater commissions. I hope to start achieving commissions between $100-$200 a month at least. Its not a lot but i am being realistic.
My plans for the upcoming 6 months
I will be starting the affiliate bootcamp and using my knowledge gained and success stories to build a second website driving traffic to WA and helping others build their own business and realising their potential. At the same time enjoying a slice of financial freedom and starting to enjoy a better lifestyle... taking action to make changes in my life!
