Extra Content to add to my website

Hey everyone at WA. I have taken some advice on keyword searches and have been narrowing down specific words and phrases. In the midst of doing all of this, a light bulb went off in my head as far as to what else I could add to my video gaming website. Below are a few things that I noticed people wanted to inquire about or gain access to to, but wasn't readily available or too confusing to find the right relevant data on. The list is as follows:

* Video Game Beta Tester Jobs
- I would like to add a section on my website that has a comprehensive and up to date list on certain companies and businesses that are in need of beta testers for their products.

* Get paid to play Video games
- I know it sounds the same as a beta tester job, which it very well might be lol, but I think there is a difference. I know there are some sites that deal with pay to click or paid to read sites that pay you daily to do those assigned task everyday. I would like to list sites that would allow you to do this daily, as it isn't always readily available to land a beta tester job position, so this could be an alternative to the above option.

*Where to buy games from Japan
- This is where they originated from in the first place lol. I would love to add to my site games that can be brought from Japanese stores. A lot of the really good games that they have over there don't get the chance to get shipped over here due to copyright reasons, low fan base, low sells, etc. Non the less, there are those who still want to play certain games and I figure why should they have to suffer (if you want to call it that lol)? They should be given the option to know where to buy these games from, so I want to add that as well.

* Buying Used Games
- People are always finding sites where you can buy new games, but sometimes a used game is just a good, but at a lesser price. I know sometimes the newer games can sell out really fast if they aren't pre-ordered early, well you will have to wait until the next shipment, which can be whenever. Sometimes though, when some people don't like that "hot new game", they want to get rid of it and game sellers will take it in as used. I would also like to provide a medium for this content as well.

What do you guys and gals think about this. Any input is greatly appreciated as always.

Thanks and have a great one!

You have a lot of great ideas. Too many in fact. Haha. Make sure you stay laser focused on one idea/niche and stick too it. Then you can move on to other stuff.

I think (personal opinion here) that a great way to build out your site would be to focus on doing game reviews, previews, strategies, and other general game info stuff. You could do this with your blog and articles.

If you provide some great info, just based on your domain name, you have a lot of potential to create a good brand. And with that good info you can create a good reading base.

Once you do that a lot of these other ideas and areas you want to focus on will be a lot easier and more lucrative to implement.

Imagine if you had all these readers that were just wishing they could have been a beta tester on the new Diablo game. and then you introduce them (through an e-mail newsletter or on your blog, whatever) to a "how to be a video game beta tester" product.

If people already trust and enjoy your reviews then they are more likely to buy something from you.

Really you are looking at creating an authority site and it will take time and work, but can be done and can be great for you.

that actually was one thing that I thought about starting with first so far lol. I did a spider web of information yesterday of what I could do, and the list was huge. I actually like the ideas presented above and I do want to start small, and I think that will be a great way to do so. What I may do is start off doing links to strategy guides for companies through my sight as a way of getting small income while I'm also writing my own strategies about the actual games that I play or know about, along with reviews, previews of games, etc...I really do appreciate your input because I know that I have so many insightful ideas, but I know I need to narrow it down first and concentrate on that first before it takes off lol. Hell maybe I could even do a review of the actual strategy guides that I may have links too? Just thought of that as well lol...Anyway, take care and I will make sure I get back with you soon buddy

Thanks

Doing a review of those guides would be great and help your conversions.

Hey DK...were you able to check out my site now....I wanted you to take a look at it as I think you would approve lol

this sounds great just make sure your not being too broad with your niche. I have been wanting to start a video game website for a while now, and I am very interested too know how you are doing with this. I have been a gamer for pretty much my whole life and i love video games. I will keep an eye on your site, these ideas are great.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I didn't want to be too broad either lol. I will stick with the core for right now and once I get that squared away with the essentials, I will work my way into adding those. Thanks for the insight though...I'm looking forward to the finished product too lol
