My Why

I have been diligently following the steps through the program and am now on the step where I am to create a blog post and work on boosting my WA Ranks. So I thought a fun intro post would be to introduce my "why".

I am a single mom of four beautiful kids. I am also a registered nurse. My kids and my job are my absolute passion. Recently, I had to leave one dream job as a public health nurse and take another dream job, as a school nurse. It was a no brainer as I am making the same income but can have summers off with my kids. But, as with everything, there was a sacrifice. More time off during the summer means less personal days during the year to attend field trips with the kids, be active in their classroom, and to have impromptu lunches with them. I have to constantly remind myself that I am doing the best I can.

So my why is this. To be able to claim this as my full time job in a year. I am hoping to be making some income in 6 months, just enough to let me know that I am on the right track. I will not be discouraged nor swayed. My niche for now, as a nurse, is about healthy living, fitness etc. However, I also would like to have a site for WA, so that will be my next endeavor.
