My Wealthy Affiliate Journey
Hi everyone
I wanted to share my journey of how I came to join Wealthy Affiliate and my progress so far...
I joined WA about 4 months ago while I was stuck at home for 3 weeks after a knee op. Prior to this I had been thinking about trying to create a different revenue stream from my regular day job but hadn't had much time to research it properly. The 3 weeks at home allowed me to do this and after quite a bit of research, I decided to join WA and almost straight away became a premium member.
Training progressed very quickly initially and I was really enjoying it, but then I went back to work and things slowed down as I was struggling to find time to put the hours in.
I try to get up a few hours before I leave for work every day to continue with my training, but I feel like I need and want to put more time in... but at least I'm making progress, even if it's a bit slower than I would like.
My niche is everything related to camping - I'm a Cub Scout Leader and I love the outdoors and going on camp.
I've nearly finished level 2 of the training and what I've learnt so far is that one of the most important aspects of your online presence is quality content - this is what is going to get visitors to your website and other online platforms.
My 1st goal is to finish the training and I'm hoping I can do this in the next 3 months...
My next goal would be to make my 1st online affiliate 'sale' - this would be a massive step, as then I will know that I can do it and if I can do it once, then I can do it ten times and a hundred times...
I'm really glad to be part of the WA community - I really get the feeling that everyone is looking out for everyone else :)
