Healthy body, healthy mind

We have busy lives either working from home or offices.
But the thing we forget is that healthy body has healthy mind.
Keep yourself active.
One of the initiatives is parkrun.
It's international run where you can run 5km every week on Saturday with hundreds to thousands of people in parks near you.
Enjoy junior park run with you kids which is 2km on Sunday.
Register and take bar code with you which will keep track of your runs on their website.
Very motivational as there is a healthy competition.
I started recently and loving it.
Register on http://www.parkrun.com/ and start tomorrow. It's Saturday.

I lived in Norway for some time, the Norwegians are very health conscious. I was there before McDonalds and Coca Cola arrived. No overweight people to be seen.
Post McDonalds and Coca Cola body shapes changed considerably.
And now to my point, running was the exercise of choice. It changed very quickly to power walking due to injuries associated with running.
Do you have any thoughts on the subject?
Moderation is the key. Even if you are consuming high caloric diet, going mad on that is the recipe for disaster. Same goes with running and walking - In moderation and persistence. These are the two core factors to succeed in almost every thing.
I hope so, I think this would be a great motivational tool for me to be fit and get out more.
