“Guerilla Marketing”
Guerrilla marketing is defined as a low budget cost effective campaign that can be turned into advertising with creativity. The creativeness that comes stems from these advertisements can be memorable. To most these are pieces to talk about and get you to come in and shop and buy and you do not even notice it.
I have researched an article with tons of examples of guerrilla Marketing and the expressiveness and creativity.
IKEA had stairs coming out like drawers and this would make someone think “do I need a new dresser or chair to go in my room.” Makes you feel part of the experience that they provide.
Guerrilla Marketing goes way back when marketing first came out to create cheap tactics to advertise their products. Like a beer company put the beer at the handles when you walk into their business, this make you see yourself with a beer in your hand. These can have ethical dilemmas as well. Think of the stairs of IKEA drawers they could trip and fall staring at the steps.
Have you ever done Guerrilla Marketing, or experience this?
We have been doing research on these and was wondering if this would cost more?
It is supposed to be low budget cost campaigns, we have been interested and was wondering if anyone is into this as well?
Is it effective as well for small business

I've heard of guerilla film-making, I guess guerilla marketing is similar. Of course, the difficult part is that good guerilla actions tend to be borderline illegal or just plain illegal. If your business is the beneficiary of successful guerilla marketing then you would likely have to accept the liabilities that might come with the actions. I guess the challenge is to think of low-cost actions you can take, that have high visibility but leave nothing behind that you can be held accountable for. Something I have seen in another sphere in a large urban setting is particular political groups with an agenda, projecting messages onto the facades of prominent public buildings to give the impression that the public office (whoever it is) endorses the political message. I'd be interested if others have experiences in this area.
