What Is AIDAS

AIDAS Do you know what this stands for? If you do not keep reading and find out why you should market this way.

This is to help you optimize your website and adverts to fit your audience or customers' personas.

AIDAS been around for a long time if has its origin in direct marketing before the internet came along.

Attention, Interest, Desire, Action, Satisfaction. (AIDAS)

Attention-grabbing the attention of your audience with an appealing or relevant design. Unless your audience is attracted, whatever you say on the website is of no use.

Interest- You can increase the interest of your audience once you have grabbed their attention you can explain the benefits, or advantages of using the website.

Desire- Make them want what you are selling. Create a desire for what you are selling explain how it can improve their lives go into more benefits.

Action- Motivate them to take action, add elements that help visitors or the audience in completing the purchase. Answer all questions and guide them through the complete purchase process.

Satisfaction- Ensure all purchases meet customers' expectations direct marketers have protocols to find out how satisfied their customers are with their purchases.

You need to explain clearly what the customers will get with their purchase when they will get it, and how they will get it.

Be transparent from the moment they click your advert, all the way through the final conversion.

• How do you look at the buying cycle?

• Do you approach it as a customer way or a seller?

Examples:

You have the attention of your prospective customer once your company pops up on Google search results or a PPC advert. This could have been from you headline that you ranked in or keywords you used.

After that, generate Interest in what you are trying to sell. Answer their questions. Move on to the desire to show your audience how your product will make their lives better. These can be testimonials that you got. Provide links on the landing page. If you have no room for further details provide a link.

Once you made them desire your product then move on to action, place the call-to-action button (buy button) prominently on the page.

Do not make customers search for the buy button.

After all, this is done right move on satisfaction explain what the customer will get tell them the final cost of the product. Make sure that they are good and not having trouble with their order or purchase.

If your offer is aimed at first-time customers/customers from a particular region.

Then you need to ensure the offer/advertisement reaches the targeted audience

The happy customers will become the Ambassadors of your product and brand.
