What led you to Wealthy Affiliate?
lightly more than a year ago I was working in a multinational conglomerate, working anywhere between 12-24 hours a day. I had been there for more than 4 years and despite my bright career prospects, it was a toxic environment to be in. I was unhappy, depressed, obese, lonely and tired all the time. In that time my salary barely increased and I was getting more sickly with every passing day.
One day I had chest pains and felt a strange sensation around my heart. I visited the doctor. He said that if it wasn't for my age, I would have had a heart attack. That put my life into a perspective I hadn't considered. If I didn't change the direction my life was going, I was going to die young for a salary of less than $900... It wasn't even enough to help my family after my dad left.
I was always a dreamer but this time I was going to take action. It was very difficult and terrifying but I had to do it. I decided to quit my job and move to a different country in order to marry my then fiancée so that we could be together after more than 3 years apart as well as support her career. The better exchange rate would also give me more disposable income to send home in order to help my family. That was the plan.
I left the company, moved to a different country and got married. Being unemployed and using up my savings in an expensive city whilst waiting for the spouse visa was excruciatingly stressful. But the time I had gave me the opportunity to learn about so many things that I wouldn't have been able to if I was at my former workplace. One day this led me to http://barenakedscam.com/ by Jack Cao. I wanted to know if a particular product was legit and I'm grateful that I read about the review on this site. This led me to read about other ways to make money online. I ended up at Wealthy Affiliate. The rest is history.
Here's to a fulfilling life where I can live my dreams whilst helping others!
