Don't Quit

I just wanted to share something Kyle wrote me in an E-mail the other day. I realize that everything he and Carson have sent me in the last week or so since I joined up has been pre-written but nonetheless this particular message happened to address directly certain concerns that I have been expressing in my various postings here. My concern, based on certain previous experiences, is that I will put a great deal of time and effort into this endeavor and not have it prove profitable. Kyle told me about his first few months as an affiliate marketer and how he got no sales at all until the third month. He talked about how it was important not to give up after those first two months. I understood that. Although I am nervous about the results I am determined to give this at least a year. Kyle said he was making a steady income within six months and making a living within a year. The most important thing he said though was, "Out of all the people I have worked with over the last 10 years, I have never seen someone fail that didn't quit." For some reason I think that is not just salesmanship, it is a literal statement of fact. That makes me feel very good and gives me great confidence. This will work, even for me. Every single person who has stuck to the program and continued working at it has, eventually, been able to earn a living. It will not be wasted time and effort. That's a good thing to know.

By the way, Kyle also mentioned that his wife recently gave birth to their first child, a liitle girl named Scotland, so congratulations to them both.
