Revisiting Old Work
Just a reminder, always go back and check your work.
I had created a good amount of blog posts on my site. When I had done them, I embedded some youtube clips. At the time, they embedded just fine. I dont know if WP changed something on their interface, or if I missed a vital step, but it turns out the videos werent embedded NOW. So I went back and realized over 50% of my entries looked unprofessional as HELL, like I had no idea what I was doing. Definitely a bad look when it comes to branding and creating an image of expertise. Thankfully I dont really draw a ton of traffic right now anyways, so I guess maybe a handful of people saw it.
But jeez, GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR WORK. Even a few weeks down the line. As you learn new things, you may look back and realize that what seemed "good" at the time is actually less than ideal. Everything on the internet leaves an impression, so even if your CURRENT brand/expertise is shining and polished, if your old work doesnt reflect that, its not a good look
