I check it every day and have followed up with site support a few times. They send a reply saying they’re working on it and then I’ll either hear nothing else or that they’ve sent it to Senior Support.
Yup, I keep at it.

Any help for ads.txt added into wordpress is appreciated.
Go to Plugins and Add New, then search for Google Site Kit. Install it and it will handle everything for you.
If you do not use the site kit plugin...
You can use the Ad Inserter plugin, as you do not want to edit your theme files directly, as you will lose your changes when the theme updates or if you change your theme. How To Use The Ad Inserter Plugin Or, as advised reach out to site support.

you can use sitekit plugin, ad inserter plugin or ask support to add it....
make sure you have traffic before going for ads as it does slow down your site - especially if not managed.....
