Indexed by Google Already?!
I haven't even made it through my second out of 5 courses completely and I am already indexed by Google. I didn't realize that would happen so fast. Is that normal from everyone elses expereinces? I wrote a long article about women's running shoes and maybe that bumped me up because there were so many keywords?
I haven't really put much of anything on the website yet: www.mywomensrunningshoes.com
I did realize through my research and personal experience how incredibly important it is to have the right running shoes if you are a runner. Then I started doing more research on it for this website and the content that needs to be added. I started learning that there is an entire science behind this! There are academic articles written about the science behind how they engineer these shoes now.
But, really, how big of a deal is it to get indexed by Google ? Especially if you haven't even made it completely through the second course (?)

Inspirational. As a newbie on WA, I can't wait for my articles to be indexed. Though my choice of content might not help me generate income that easily because I focus on human interest stories and not products. If anyone is listening, Is it essential that I choose a niche based on products than what I'm writing about currently?
My opinion is this: It can be difficult to fin a niche, especially when it comes to selling a specific product and writing about it. I chose womens running shoes because that is something I have some experience with and I know is a good niche. I also am into humanitarian work/ human rights and animal rights. You could literally write for eternity about social issues, human rights, animal rights and social work. A huge part of this Wealthy Affiliate program is becoming an established and recognized author on the internet by different search engines, especially google.
So, in light of all of this I would say to keep writing and posting your blogs and posts on whatever website you choose to create and on your google + profile and that will establish you as a credible author, you will get a following and then later down the road you can choose a niche and create a website around something that you are actually interested in selling to people and also have your normal writing about social issues with a different domain name.
