Progress so far.
I only have 1 domain at the moment and I feel good about that! I want to learn the ins and outs of the system before I take on anymore than that. I was asked about what my page was doing monetary wise and of course if you go and look at my page now you will not see any affiliate programs. I am more interested in doing my research and finding an affiliate program that I actually have tried, believe in, and would recommend to my friends and family. My website is actually a blog of sorts related to living life, eating healthier and not dieting! I am currently trying out two different affiliates for myself prior to joining with them. In the next 3 months I hope to have 1 or more affiliates related to healthy eating and making a little money with my site.

That's a great way to proceed. I believe that one should produce quality content and seek to build a mailing list before monetizing. that's my approach so I understand. That way, people would have trusted enough to buy whatever you pitch at them.
