Here for the Long Haul (and the Training)
So many thoughts...churning, churning, churning in my head. I'd love to make this a full time gig (I think), but I have a full-time day-time job right now that pays the mortgage, the solar, the cell phone, the medical insurance, you get it, right? It's a matter of hours in the day sometimes. I'm trying intermittent fasting as a diet, but intermittent sleeping is less successful.
I really really (really) love WA. Why? The training, the support, the mentorship (that's you, Derek - how did I get so freaking lucky?), the sheer opportunity, etc. Because of other obligations (one of which is a relationship that I'm happy in), I only seem to get here late at night, but I'm always so at home when do get here. Did I mention the TRAINING?
Speaking of training, I'm training for a half marathon in November, my 9th. I'm not a serious runner: I started in my 40's, I have asthma, I have feet problems, and I don't run when it is hot (I live in AZ). I guess what I'm trying to say, is WA is like a marathon (or a half marathon) to me. I'm not always the best trainer, but I am a great FINISHER!
Here for the long haul...
