There is No Try!
The word “try” is a hard word to avoid; we use it all the time. On the one hand, that is all we can do – try our best. But the word “try” implies self-doubt before you even start. It implies that you are not sure you can do the thing. You start off by limiting yourself!
The word ‘try” gives you an out – I tried my best. Somehow this gives you less responsibility for the outcome. I tried my best but… Take full responsibility for all outcomes or at least for your response to the outcomes. If you fail – THAT IS FINE! What did you learn? How will you do things differently the next time? When can you start again? Just move forward.
Instead of “try” use the word “do.” Eliminate the word “try” and you now are declaring to yourself and the world that you are capable of doing the task – which you are. I will do my best. If you “do” your best and you succeed – that is great. If you “do” your best and you fail – THAT IS GREAT TOO! Why? Because you did something, you learned from it and the next time you will do something BETTER! “Do” means you will succeed eventually if you keep “doing”!
Soooooo….

Yes, use do instead of try.
