I feel as if I've been away forever!
I have been at WA over a year now, and know now something I didn't really understand when I first started here. My expectations and goals were unrealistic. I had hoped to start making money within 6 months! That didn't happen and I went downhill for a while, before I picked myself up again and went back to work.
What threw me, actually, was, I knew absolutely nothing about affiliate marketing, so that HAD to be a huge hurdle and a steep learning to curve that I don't think I really accounted for. I have ADHD, so my biggest problem is sorting out what's important from what isn't important. I get overwhelmed and generally that means I become absolutely paralyzed. I didn't account for that. You can push the envelope, sure, but you have to stop for the traffic lights - you push, then you rest.
If anyone of you has ever experienced pure panic and the kind of paralysis that gives you that deer-in-the-headlights look, while your stomach feels like the Atlantic Ocean during a hurricane; and buzzing in your ears, and the visible world becomes somewhat unreal. I've been there so many times, I better watch I don't set myself off again just writing about this (lol!).

I wanted to add something interesting. Servo-mechanisms, as they're called, learn by bumping into all the wrong things until they finally get the right move. I was like that machine. Thing is, a lot of people (I heard "most," maybe) give up just at the point where they really should stick to it, because whatever time & effort they've spent on their project, abandoning it means it was all for nothing!
Well, how does that make any sense?
Besides, you don't know what's around the corner, so what have you got to lose?
The going got too tough? Oh, I see. You were expecting guarantees, maybe a portage over those difficult spots, maybe lean on a few people to get help.
Hey, getting help is great, but leaning on people, that's another thing.
