Do you have the WA BLOCK?
HI again to WA!!
Well, I recently realized in surprise that it has been a long 6 months since I blogged for my site, and even longer since I blogged here on WA. I was shocked. I had no idea that I was heading into this no man's land and that it would last so long, tho I sadly dreamed of writing every day. So many things blocked me.
How many of you out there have been in the same place......WA BLOCK???? Did you, by any chance disdain that 4 letter word GOAL also?
My job is the reason I have used for procrastination........but I am STILL working and suddenly found I was 'inspired' to listen to an old mentor's CD again because I never forgot that he spent 2 hours WEEKLY on business planning: a mystery to me!
Now we are clearly taught by our genius leaders here, Kyle and Carson, at a particularly critical time that THEY fully understand from experience, that this is a crucial part of our training. It is not a supplement. It is the main course of this Bacchanalian feast we have signed up for here at Wealthy Affiliate. I was awed when I read other people's long and well thought out plans and timelines. I wondered how they came up with it all!
BUT, though I had goals, they were not defined by time and date, as that was just too difficult to figure out. Soooo, well, I just drifted along, thinking I was still working my vague 'plan' when the basic parts were missing. It seemed just SO hard! And what did it matter as long as I was working toward monetizing my site??
After listening to my old CD, I got enthused and started with 2 hour blocks of time that I set aside to just ruminate, at least. It was NOT laborious! IT WAS EXCITING! Then I set aside a regular once a week hour that I began to relish and look forward to. Yes, the details changed as they say they will when you create. That was exhilarating, not frightening! I was utterly shocked to feel the trickle of creativity begin to flow and looked forward to each weekly session. Ideas poured out of me! Yes, I am still working on the timeline!
So BEWARE! Don't let this happen to you! We are all overwhelmed by the volume of training here and the huge number of awesome people at our fingertips ready to help us. It is staggering and also, if you have never had support in your life or dreams, it can be hard to believe. All this time I did not feel I had the time to respond to anyone I would engage, so I barely did it. I intend to rectify that and enjoy all that is offered here at WA!
We need to respect the experience and leadership we have in Kyle and Carson. And like them, let's all make the best of our committment to WA! We did make one when we joined, right?? There is no option comparable and it can change your life..........SO LET IT!!!!!!

People who set goals are more likely to be successful. Without a goal, you just drift along.
Goal setting is really important, but give it a date when it will be accomplished by :)
