I just want to share the steps to add translator to your website in word press:

I see some websites in Spanish, Portuguese and some are in English, but why not make them global by adding a translator tool to your widget.

Steps:

  • Add new plugin "Google Translate Widget"
  • Install and activate it
  • Then go to Widget and add it under sidebar
  • Now save it and then play with your pages in different language

Is not it very simple? Want to share with all of you, hope you will like it............

Hi Mithun, thanks for the information. Irv.

I have it installed. People use it. So far my website is in ENGLISH. Next week I will post an article in Italian and I will see, if the translator figures that out or not. (to translate Italian into English) Do you know?

It should work in both ways. In that post, 'Italian' will be your default language.

Actually, I am trying it out. In preview - mode it came up already translated into a sort of weird English. Now I have to check if it goes back to the original if someone chooses ITALIAN.
Maybe I need to do a revision of the English version and post it extra. But this is a lot of additional work......

Thanks M

Thank you .. great info! Cheers, William.

Thanks Mithun for that insight. I also struggle with reading sites or blogs in other languages other than English. Thanks for that special information
