Motivation!
So, third blog here!!!
Today, I would like to talk about motivation and what to do when you find that you have a little time to work on your goals and dreams but you are not motivated to do so!!!
Motivation and being unmotivated is different for everybody! I find myself on most days ready to work towards my dream of website success with no problem and actually a lot of excitement. On these days I have trouble cutting myself off to do daily household chores and even to sleep!!! But...on a few different days, I have sat down at my computer and just stared at it!!! Writer's block would set in and I just would feel lazy and drift off into neverland lol!!!
What I have found that really helps to conquer these far-and-few-between days and get some work done is fairly easy to explain! I usually have a plan for the day...whether it be researching keywords, researching affiliate programs to find the best deals for different products, or creating content!!! Well on those difficult days, I just stop what I am trying to do...I mean, I am not being productive just staring at the screen!!!
When I stop what I am doing I do not mean that I stop working. Nobody can earn a living doing that!!! I just stop and redirect my attention to a different task that might interest me better on that particular day! For instance....if I am supposed to be writing content but I'm just not feeling it, I will re-direct my attention to helping people here on Wealthy Affiliate!!! We all know that in helping others, you usually end up helping yourself too!!! I will research for an answer for someone else and guess what? More times than not I will utilize the new information I obtained at some point in the future!!!! \
In conclusion...even if you are not being productive on a particular daily task, re-direct your focus elsewhere for the day and that will get and keep you motivated to continue this process and move on!!!!
