My WA Journey
I have just completed the final lesson in Course 2! Yahoo!
My journey with WA so far has been a huge learning curve to say the least. I am fairly computer & net savvy, I have set up websites in the past & been involved in a number of internet businesses over the years that ended up just costing me time & money with no success, apart from learning what I DON'T want.
As I worked my way through the lessons it dawned on me that anyone really can set up a website, but gaining traffic through good content & interaction with other people online is what will enable your site to be found by the search engines. This is exactly why WA has set up these lessons in this order & asks that you work your way through them in order & carry out the activities as required. It is all about your website becoming successful & for that to happen you need Traffic.
Now all of this takes time of course & I also soon realised that my website wasn't going to be an overnight success (which is exactly why I chose WA anyway in the first place), but I am the impatient kind & really wanted to be up & running a month ago. As I progressed through the activities I found that nothing was as simple as I thought, there is always more to do to achieve that activity, which means more research & time. My other business activities also are to blame as I have to give them my time as well, so I couldn't dedicate as much to WA & setting up my website.
Now at the end of Course 2 I do feel I have learnt & achieved a huge amount. My new website (still a work in progress) is at http://k9desynz.com/ if anyone wishes to have a look & leave any comments, advice, thoughts, etc, that you feel may help.
It has also been a great pleasure interacting with the WA community whom have all been so helpful & encouraging so far (& I sincerely thank you all for that), which is a big bonus when you are learning the ropes. I also have found Carson & Kyle very accessible & always willing to help (another big thank you guys).
I am now really looking forward to starting the next course & moving forward to having my website operational & at least paying for itself by the end of August 2015. Over the next 3-6 months my goal is to increase my product range, reviews & bring in some experts who can offer my clients advice, services & activities for their furry friends. I would also like to bring on board some suitable charities for animals that we can donate some of our proceeds towards making life a little bit better for all those beautiful critters we share our planet with.
I welcome all new WA members & encourage you to stick with the training to achieve your dreams.
