Still Kickin it Up and Out

So a little more than 5 months into the WA training and I think things are starting to fall into place. I have found my niche a hard one to break in to with a loud enough voice to make the ranks, but looking at the numbers, roughly 30% of my 70+ posts are ranking on page 1 (many others on page 2 or 3) of a Google search.
I have learned such a great deal here. Had a few hurdles (not truly understanding how the keywords really did the best job, had making a theme change in mid stride) which have set me back some. but I knew this wasn't going to e easy.
I took a hard approach to all of this. I am striving for an authority niche, and a broad one at that. I see now why it was suggested to narrow it down, but looking at things now I like where it is all going anyways. I think my focusing in such a wide niche is also what has taken me so long to rank and get the attention I want for my site too.
I've never taken the easy route though, and this is no exception. I'm very proud of wat I've accomplished and I can honestly say that I NEVER lack for something to write about. I probably have 15 half written articles, 5 researched keywords and titles, and a list of 20-25 topics I'd love to write on; all at any given moment of the day or week.

Although I haven't made the big money yet, I do see the light and remain super excited about the possibilities. I still get up each day just as excited as I was that first week. I feel blessed that I came across WA.
Late last month I also began transferring a website I used to host at Godaddy www.thesalliehouse,com. It's been a huge undertaking as it was over 300+ pages of content; including a photo and EVP gallery, not to mention a forum. Although I am having to rebuild the site into a WordPress format, it's giving me a better understanding of the site structure.
I'm still trying to figure out how to incorporate a photo/audio gallery in a WP theme, but I'm sure when I get there I will figure something out. Monetizing the transferred site is also something I hope to be doing soon.
I really think I made a good choice when I chose the same theme for the transferring site as my WA site. The theme is a huge asset with many option and working on one give me insight to the capabilities of the other; one being a blogging site the other not.
As I search for information and apply it, go through more training and experiment, I constantly feel like I am in information overload, but it keeps me and my mind active. I work 8-12 hours a day /6 days a week. I am bound and determined to make this work.
With that said, I want to shout a big thank you to so many people those who helped me out and who's success becomes my goal , like Jay, Lois and Apache, and those who continue to leave me great comments and have stuck it out as long as I have, remaining as committed to striving for the end goal as myself, like Jyl, AnaSantos, Linda, Marcpasrons, Emily, Demi, Anthony, Lauren, Sarah and so many others who I have meet and consider friends.
I raise my glass high to you all and wish you the best of success
