How to actually show your appreciation
So, I have noticed that not a whole lot of people use the "like" feature here at WA. I am pretty sure it is because many are not aware of it or the function it provides, rather than people being stingy.
Never the less, I thought I would shout about it because it can help so many people who really deserve it.
First off, where to find it.
You will find the "Like" feature at the bottom of each and every post, after each training and after each blog.
Clicking the "Like" on any of these does a few things.
1.It tells someone that you appreciate their time, help and/or effort
2.That you agree with what was said
3.That you feel the information that was given in the material was spot on
4.That you are giving them kudos for a job well done
5.and hitting "Like" can actually go further than your comment in many cases
When you hit "Like" it counts just a little extra when it comes to rankings here at Wealthy Affiliates. It actually boosts that person's rank more than a "hey thanks" sort of comment. It is a big help in getting that person noticed as a helper or contributor in the community.
So if you really liked someone's response, valued their help or comment to you, felt in-tune with something they said, or felt their was value in what they offered, Go ahead, HIT THAT "Like" BUTTON and give credit where credit is due. You will be helping them in a big way.
Clicking "Like" is like giving them a Hug. We all could use a hug now and then, and sometimes a simple hug can make your day!

Hi, Debra...well said and duly noted. When I submit comments, I haven't hit the"like" key because I feel leaving a comment trumps just a "like". From now now on, I'll do both.
Thanks for this important tip,
Karen
I think nice comments can go a long way to form personal or business relationships .A "Like" helps that person within the rankings, which is one of the best things that WA promotes, a pay it forward, friendly and helpful community.

I have noticed that also and really didn't think about. I always try to give a like unless i don't. It is a good way to respond.
Nice post Missa,
Marty
So well spoken or written, which ever you prefer, Debra. All of us love the "like" button. I regretfully say I didn't really pay it any attention at first. I was too focused on joining the discussion. I use it a lot now. Thanks for reminding us.

Nice post, little things you do can make someone happy more than you are ever intended to.
