Advice for all newcomers

First of all, welcome to Wealthy Affiliate.

I know everything may seem a bit overwhelming right now, but buckle up and hold on tight, the fun is just getting started.

I, like many of you likely are, was rather skeptical when I first came into WA. I was thinking that they were just another scam trying to part me from my money. Boy was I wrong. In my experience, the only place that wants you to succeed with a community to help you reach your goals.

I started out by looking at a couple pages and watching a couple videos.

I highly recommend you to take a look at this page first.

Kyle emphasizes 4 points.

1) Anyone can accomplish success online.

2) Anything NEW can appear to be overwhelming at first

3) You do not need any experience or an existing online business

4) Success is not an event

All of these statements are very true!

Two pieces of advice are also given.

1) Don't be afraid to ask questions. I can't tell you how important this is. I always say it is better to ask a question than to guess and get it wrong. There are so many people here who want to help you to succeed. Ask them questions and take their advice into consideration.

2) Take action on what you have learned. This statement rather speaks for itself. It would be like spending the time to learn to play a sport then never play. Lol it doesn't make sense.

Watch the videos. Learn from them. Learn from the community.

The last piece of advice I can give is to go premium. There is much more to gain by doing so. Many more classes. Tons more knowledge. Lots of perks. The ability to instant message other members directly. The list goes on and on. By all means, take advantage of the free membership. See everything Wealthy Affiliate has to offer. If you are like me, then within your first week it will just make sense and you will click that Premium button.
