What would you do in my shoes?

Don't get me wrong. I regularly check my own texts, not those written by others. But, when you read a fellow member’s post and you just have a feeling that it sounds like a pure sales pitch...And, when you check, you get the above result.

Plus, the whole thing is about something that you think is not worth at all, full with exaggerated promises, while it is highly recommended by the author. For the sake of supporting your fellow member’s site, you try to come up with a comment, but then realize you can’t possibly do it and not lie. You give up.

In a couple of days, you run into another article on the same site and you already know that what it is recommending is a scam. You try to compose a contributing comment, but, it is a scam-so how can you support the author praising it?

And then-you suddenly need to return the favor to the same site for another article you can’t possibly agree with. If you don’t comment, you are rude. If you do and tell what you think-rude again. What to do?

Is it correct to only go away and not get involved at all, avoid it as much as possible in future? Would it be more correct to let the author know that all you can see there is a copied sales pitch one after another? I'm clueless. What would you do in my place?

I would not get involved, and I would not feel I own them anything. The person is recommending a scam, so I would not feel bad for not commenting back.

Thank you!

The thing to do is take in what is being written, use any useful information so you can use it for yourself.

Thanks!

If you're a true online worker and you're about helping and not scamming then Is it correct to only go away and not get involved at all, avoid it as much as possible in future as you've stated.
I don't play with them cause I was scam before and working to save others from falling in the same boat, so I feel you with the scammer.

I guess most of us got scammed in some way at some point of our lives. But, I also have the right to decide for myself only, as Phil pointed out so well. And, if only it was that easy to just walk away-I'd gladly do it, but I'm sort of incorrect if I do not comment back. So, I'll need to think about this a bit longer.
Thank you!

I wouldn't get involved, but that is just me!

Jeff

You need to just forget it, because if you tell them something negative that they won't want to hear, then they will reject the comment and it will be held against you by WA. It is impossible to genuinely critique a website here unless it is a positive comment. As a result, people are not getting the information they really need to improve.

Well, you are probably right. It is a very thin line between constructive critique and hurting someone and this line is not at the same point for everyone. Therefore, I try to be extremely polite and careful when I draw someone's attention to something I think could be improved and always do it back here, not on the site itself. But, the thing is, I can't find any nice words I could put in the public comment under the siite in question, unless I go against my own beliefs. Still, I have to do something, as I do owe that comment.
After that, I'll probably stay far away, as you advised. Thank you!
Btw, I'd very much more appreciate a constructive critique here than a false comment on my articles.
