Starting A New Website - Keep Working on the Old!

I decided I was going to delete my website, mimi's coffee house and re-name it, and re-start with mimis coffee hut. Don't ask me why. I think I started off on the wrong foot, and I haven't given it the energy I should.

I know it is difficult to manage one website at a time, how much more four, but I want to do this and many others - So I need to get started at some point. Besides, coffee is something I can blog about asleep. I love coffee, I know a lot about it and have even owned a coffee shop, so I guess it will be a lot easier to come up with blog topics than my current review site.

To make sure I am not dropping any balls, I will commit to posting every 2 days to each site.

Wish me luck!

I remember when I first set out on this Kyle saying it is better to have one great site than a few average ones, just go at your pace wish you every success with it

Thanks so much Katie. I do agree, and I know why Kyle says this, is because having one site is a lot of work! But I write as a hobby. Having a few websites gives me outlet for writing and I'd love to have a few sites on topics that are in my head :) - I'm not even sure I am making any sense right now, Lol! My primary website for WA is not even a topic I'd have chosen by myself, but I am enjoying it. Still I want a couple niches that are personal to me. Of course, it doesn't hurt that I we monetize the sites!

good to hear you are making progress and enjoy writing, I have stuck with the two for now promoting WA and work at home type of thing and the other is a wedding site my first one.. so get what you mean

Good luck. I like to wish people good skill.. Which means food luck.

Ok. Thanks! Wishing you the best too.

U welcome.

Good luck Mimi. I am ready to start my second one...doing the research now but this first one is still a hand-full...
Sherry

Thanks Sherry. You are so right! One website is a handful. Wishing you the very best too!

I want to start a second site but I've been having trouble keeping up with my first site lately. But I have so many ideas in my head, I need them to get out. lol
I will see how it goes. Having two websites on two completely different topics should help keeping things interesting. You know, for the days when you are completely fed up writing on the some topic over and over again...

Very true. I find having more than one website to be the best cure for writer's block. Anytime I'm stuck on one, I move on to the other. Most important thing is to keep moving :) Thanks!

Hope you manage to keep to your goals for both sites - I do wish you luck.

I do hope so too! Thanks.

Hello Mimi, I had a similar experience, started building a website and it was going nowhere. Change title and redirection and away you go.
Keith.

I hope mine works out that way :) Thanks for commenting!

Hey Mimi,
Follow your gut. If it tells you to start over....start over. It is often easier to start over than it is to re-arrange, re-write and still not know where you are going.
Charlie

Very true Charlie! Thanks.

Good luck :)

Thanks Jude!

Hard work will pay off

Thanks!

Good Luck, Keep working hard :)

Thanks Matteo, will do!
