Is Adsense Messing With Me? - If You Have Experience With Adsense Please Help!

Hi everyone, I made an observation about Adsense that truly bothers me. I always have some Adsense ads up in my new sites. I remove them after I pick up traffic and put something that will pay more in their space.

Anyway, I have Adsense ads up now in only my WA website. As my site has slowly started gaining organic traffic, I notice that I will get clicks on the Adsense ads ( I track this through my "exit links" reports). Interestingly, when I look at my Adsense clicks report for the day, it shows no clicks.

Yesterday, I requested Kyle to visit my site and give me some feedback. I noticed through the Visitor paths report that he clicked on one of my Adsense ads. Again, Adsense registered no clicks. I have about 29 clicks that I am concerned about.

While this does not amount to much monetarily, I am worried about this practice - I know Adsense is making money of those clicks. Where is my share???? Should I take Adsense out?

If you have any experience with Adsense, please help :(

Hmm, I've read a few WA blogs lately expressing dissatisfaction with Adsense. I applied, was accepted but have done nothing thus far with it. You have just given me more reason to hold back. Thanks for sharing your experience Mimi.

Hi there and thanks for the comment. Yes, I have seen a lot too. But I won't be quick to dismiss them - because it has been a good source of monetizing without the Google penalties while your site is still growing. I'd advice to proceed with caution, and make sure you are keeping track of your clicks. Thanks again and see you around!

They review the clicks and based on where your traffic comes from and stuff like that, they might see some clicks as non-genuine?

Thanks for responding. That is what I thought too - but I have had the same Adsense account since 2001 - and I am used to Adsense' policies. So, I usually don't get clicks that are not genuine because I don't click neither does anyone I know. Now Kyle lives all the way out in Canada, logs in through his computer etc. etc, how is that an in-genuine click???? Same applies for all my organic traffic, I can only see the exit links because I track them, and I get traffic from around the world. Best part is, I don't even get that many clicks on them.

Sorry, taking my frustrations with Adsense out here! Lol. Thanks again though!

Mmmm interesting. I'll be following this thread.

Thanks, will definitely let you know what happens. Plan to try getting in touch with them sometime this weekend.

First off Mimi great research! Next, good looking out for the rest of WA. Is there a way to contact them with the concern? Or, maybe those that's helping them grow their business the WA CEO's? I would investigate a bit further and then make your decision on an informed decision. What you think?~ Thoughts...

Hi Sherry thanks, will look into contacting them, and then if I able to resolve this, I will post here. Just thought everyone should be aware. I have seen a lot of complaints about Adsense recently but didn't pay much attention.

Thank goodness you did start paying attention! :) Plz...keep us updated, thank you for all the time and effort you are giving this.

I agree. Will let you know what happens. Thanks again!
