Will adding dropshipping products and selling them get me more traffic?

Òver the past few days I have been working with a wholesaler (who has really good quality cheap products) so that I can do dropshipping from my site. My site barely has any traffic at the moment which I'm hoping because it is about 4 weeks old. There are over 800 products that will be getting imported and the wholesalers plugin handles the updating of stock lists and exports orders.

Can anyone shed some light on whether adding so many products increase the rankings and also increase traffic to the site? I was only going to do the dropshipping from this site as the process seems mostly automatic.
