My first month experiences with WA

So I have been using WA for over a month or ao. My first site, cash-pig.com has started monetizing between 18-22nd March, there were 15 commission sales totalling approx £17. This was with paid '10,000 highly targeted traffic' for £11. It's strange how I only started earning commission after approx 2weekz, the advert monetizing is affili.net performance ad. I think the ads are 'pop-unders' and this ad must be leaving cookies as there aren't as many clicks as conissions. I don't know, but it's earning me money so I might continue with this method and update the content later as I think the pages are too short.

My other website, couplespleasure.co.uk has had some investment with a paid blogger from https://www.freelancer.co.uk/affiliates/mbromilow (excuse the affiliate link ;) . An excellent content writer from Nigeria has supplied 3 x 600 word and 2 x 1100 word content articles for £40 x 2. I thought I'd take this route to get things progressing quicker. I also paid for the hoth mini ( https://www.thehoth.com/?aff=T80G ) which should hopefully give my site some authority. This is due to be completed on 4th April. I found that I weren't getting any keywords ranked in google and was getting impatient, since strangely. Cash-pig.com seemed to be doing better.

Since affili.net has been monetizing I'm waiting for authorisation to use this on CouplesPleasure.co.uk also. I have affiliation from some top retailers including Amazon. However Google adsense has been a no go, it says i woll receive confirmation in 3 days. Its been over 3 weeks! Sending feedback or asking for help has been ignore this far. Anyway that has been my month so far. The next month I think I will expand content on both sites.

Am I correct to think that it will take time for my site to mature in the Google's rankings...?
