As I mentioned in my last post I have been using social media more and have come across a couple of great resources where you can get your blog noticed. Be prepared these all require some level of effort. Remember you are building a business. One important thing I am learning is to connect with other bloggers, this benefits you in two ways:
- You gain "free" valuable information - especially if the blogger has a successful blog and has been at it a while.
- You get yourself and your blog noticed. Meaning present your blog and what you do in a business manner.
Social Media
Pinterest has a board just for blogs - If you use Twitter you have to follow The Blog Guide or The Blog Guide Board and then submit an email to megan@theofficialblogguide.com so you can get an invite to pin on the board. Here is the actual board http://www.theofficialblogguide.com/category/social-media/ there are alot of great pins on this board which help with blogging.

Making connections is important because you meet others in your field and get yourself noticed. I think it is important we support each other, but we each are on our own paths and you have to do what works for you. I am finding you have to get out of your comfort zone, keep an open mind, and be willing to go the extra mile.
Much success to you all!
