Social Media Sharing Question

Hi all!

I recently came across a suggestion that companies are not sharing their blog content as much as they could be. I must admit that I assumed that you only share content once. My practice has been to tweet, Google+ and Pinterest when I publish a blog. That assumption means that everyone who might benefit from my blog did actually read it right then and, of course, what about the people who start following me in the weeks and months after the initial sharing?

The tip being suggested is share your blog post multiple times. For example, you might set up a schedule and tweet the blog again a week later, the next week Google+ and so on.

I'm sure there are some who would call this spamming but one view is that you are simply reminding people that this topic still matters. Does everyone notice every little thing you do online?

Of course, you want to be sure to use a different message when you share multiple times.

I would love to hear what others think...is this a good strategy or not?

Thanks,

Miles

I'm glad you write this, as it's something I've often wondered.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than myself will also jump into the discussion :)

Thank you for your response...let's see what others have to say!
