Memorial Day
Memorial Day. What is it? It is a day where we all get together with family and friends and have bar-b-que and drink some beer. Or in some cases drink a lot of beer. Play golf, go swimming and in most cases enjoy a really nice 4 day weekend. Right? WRONG....That is only part of it, a small part of it.
Many Men and Women died protecting the country in which I live so that I may enjoy the afore mentioned activities. When the United States call men and women to battle they all go where they are needed to defend the very freedoms we so richly enjoy knowing that they may not come home.
It is because of them that there is no oppression of any one person. We are free to live our lives in a manor of which we chose and not the way any government tells us to. It is why this day was created. For their honour. For their sacrifice.
For all they do Thank you...and God Bless. And for those that have give the ultimate sacrifice...thank you and may you find rest in His Eternal Grace. Greater love has no man or woman than this, that a man or woman lay down his or her life for friends or people.
For all the veterans that are on WA...Thank you for your service. For the families that are on WA who might have lost a loved one due to the Call of Duty...Thank You and God Bless You.
