I have for a 2 weeks researched and tried to learn to crop a picture to no avail, My header picture always looks blurry. Help please!

Good question!
Ed

The header image is 1600 x 230. I have been adjusting the size and have tried the pixbuilder but pictures are never clear with anything I try.

Loes always provides great training...try hers...let us know, if you still need help!

Would this be of any help?

You would want to resize or crop your picture that you will use on your website prior to uploading to your site. I like PixBuilder Studio - it's free but is easy to use and has some powerful features. As @upsgirl indicated the Theme you've chosen my have specific size requirements of any images used in the theme. Find out what those size requirements are and then when working with your photo editor be certain to resize your image to less than or equal to the maximum size allowed by the Them.

Each Theme is different. Your Theme has requirements. Look for the recommended sizes. You can drop them here, if you still need help. Also, please leave your url so we can take a look!

A person checked out my website and wanted me to contact via email. I did, being new is this something that is normal?

It is one of those situation that can be either but I do think what Mark has suggested an alternative email address is a very good idea

Good info!
Ed

Don't see why it should be a problem Mike as long as you don't smell a rat!
If you're slightly suspicious you could always create a throw away email address for yourself and email them from that, then if they spam you, you can delete that address and nothing's lost.
You could always include your URL in the email to encourage them to go to your site or your Free sign up page.
Mark

Thanks Mark very good advice appreciate again

You're welcome Mike.

Now I like that Mark, That a great idea If I do say so myself. Thanks for the info on this one. Something I can us later.

Thanks Tim and no worries, happy to help!
