YouTube now allows some channels to have their videos automatically dubbed into many other languages to increase their reach.

I have tried this feature to see how good this dubbing is, and will show you an example of it in this video.

I will also talk about what Mr Beast is doing when it comes to Ai dubbing and share my opinion and what I currently do.

It's amazing that Youtube does this for free!

Thanks for the tip, Mikael!

Yes, but hopefully the quality will soon be better as it right now is not good quality, in my opinion.

I agree!

Thank you, Mikael.
I do not have, yet, the functionality in my channel.
I have a question about "Trends". Are the trends available in YouTube accurate? Can I use them to find content for future videos? If not, is there any other tool I can use?

Best,
Maria

Not sure where you are looking at trends?

But overall, you can use Google Trends also and there are many other tools also. Personnaly, I mainly use my knowledge about my niche to try to see what's trending but, of course, what the best option is depends a lot on your niche and how fast it is moving.

In YouTube Studio, select Analytics and there is a tab called "Trends".

Thanks for explaining.

I think they can give some overall inspiration, but the trends there (at least for my channel) is very broad and not something I would use directly as KWs. But again, this can vary depending on your niche.

Thank you for clarification, Mikael :)

You are welcome

Great insight, Mikael.
One day, A.I robots will be capable of handling all kinds of tasks. Some are even being prepared for missions to Mars, where they'll eventually walk the surface and explore the planet.

Yes, it will be interesting to see where we will be in 10 years.

Very interesting explanation of voice dubbing with AI. While it's not perfect as you mention, I think it is pretty amazing all the different areas now in which AI can be a useful assistant. Thank you. Jenni.

Definitely opens up for a lot of opportunities.

Good morning Mikael,

Thank you for another interesting video, it's appreciated.

I know of a Pastor in a church whose having his videos translated into different languages. He is not using this YouTube feature, he's paying a company to do the job, apparently it's quite expensive, but certainly quite amazing. When I think how quickly AI has grown in the last 30 months, I can imagine this just being a normal feature quite soon.

I checked on one of my channels to see if the feature was available, but it's not, I guess it will be available soon.

Have a great day and keep the videos coming.

Sounds great he is using that feature. As you can see in the video YT's own rubber is not great at the moment. But yes hiring someone to do it can get very expensive. Esoecually if he has hired a company to take care of the whole process as they are then likely completely overcharging him as agencies usually do that.

I recently got an offer from an agency that wanted me to pay $10K per month for something that, when I look into it, I can hire someone myself directly and show them how to do it for less than $500 per month. So it is good to be careful about agencies.

As for dubbing, I have just tested HeyGen a bit and it seems like it is doing a great job even with lip synching and for a fair price. I need to test it a bit more to see how good it is, but maybe I will make a video about it at some point.

I have no idea what the cost was, Mikael, but the way this pastor spoke, it was a lot of money. But the principle of being able to get messages out across the world, is massive! I'm sure this technology will be perfected very quickly, judging by what I have seen of AI so far. Yes, I'm sure agencies are taking advantage of these opportunities, regarding charging.

That's very interesting, Mikael, it just shows how careful we need to be! That's a huge difference in price.

HeyGen sounds interesting, I find it absolutely amazing that software can even sync our lips and voice, etc. Yes, that would be great to hear more about this type of software, in the future, Mikael.

Have a great weekend.

Yes, it is quite fascinating to see yourself suddenly speak another language you do not know with your own voice and lips synced. But also a bit scary:-)

1

Yes, I can understand that, from both sides of the story, Mikael!

It's certainly remarkable that such a thing is possible!

All the best.

Roy
