I am so digging WA premium. I am overwhelmed with all the tutorials , help and support, if I cant make this work I may as well give up. I have started to build my site. I know w

I think you are on the right path, since you joined WA - it might take a bit to get used to wordpress, but I know I love it. It is fairly easy to follow and work with.
I hope things get easier for you.

I am sure I am. I am feeling more confident with all the support around within WA, and most of all within the discussions group, I can't thank you all enough for your responsive advise, thank you.

You are just a little spazzed right now. Step back, breathe deep. IN through the nose. OUT through the mouth. DEEP breath. (you'll hear me saying this a lot over the boards). There is now need to panic. Think of Wordpress as...Blogger Grown Up. With Blogger you get all the cool Fisher Price toys and ice cream bars, but with Wordpress you get to learn how to MAKE the toys to your design and BLEND the ice cream to flavors all your own. You ask questions, you share samples with people, get feedback. You apply some hints and helps, ignore others. Before you know it, WHAM! A whole new website is shining out from your screen, and the traffic coming is because YOU built it!

So get going, but don't get overwhelmed :D We are all here to help!

I tried the breathing bit and almost passed out, only joking, I know what you mean. I can see what you mean with blogger ( didn't like fisher price toys when I was was a kid anyway ). Wordpress seems to have a more professional outlook on creating a website, as there are so many options which is so great, but you are so right, take a step back a few deep breaths and look at the bigger picture. That's my next step.
Thank you Poetman for your help I do appreciate it.

Ps, If I haven't made a comment in the next few hour's, means I,ve passed out for a bit.

While the way your site looks is important, it's your content that brings people back. But on the question of looks I think it depends on your topic. I prefer subtle backround colors like purple or medium to dark blue. Colors that don't distract the viewer or are so bright that they make reading your blog difficult. I hope this helps and best of luck to you.

I think the content I am using is is reasonably good, But your advise is one of the exact problems I have been having, choosing the correct subtle background colors, not to cause discomfort to the eye's or distraction. I have been choosing colors that I like, not what my potential audience would like. Great advise thank you.
