Taking Those Needed Breaks

Every once in a while we need these. If you go through the WA courses, you'll see in just about all of them a time to take a break and clear the mind. But often, we're so greedy and hasty, and anxious to get to the next step to begin bringing in money, we ignore these breaks.

I personally take a break every seven days, and then I do week break every seven weeks. I admit, it isn't a full week's break all the time, but I don't schedule and pace myself like I would during a normal week.

Why do I do this?

It's simple, I'm a human being and that rhymes with machine...well kinda. The human being machine needs to be turned off from things from time to time to rejuvenate and recollect thoughts ideas, etc.

Taking those needed breaks doesn't just mean not writing an article that day or just doing a course lesson. No! It means turning your mind completely off of WA or anything marketing. Now what will happen typically is that you'll get a BIG BRIGHT IDEA during the day.

Don't rush to the computer to implement it. The idea is just the seed. Plant it and see what else comes to you that day.

Idea hits the mind, write it down and forget about it... pick it when you return to work the next day...move on with playing with the kids, watch a movie, strolling through the park with your spouse, or whatever you do. If the idea is something, more will be added through the course of the day.

The breaks help clear the mind, which is stress relieving, and will get rid of anxiety, the biggest prohibitor of making money in anything.

When I TAKE my breaks, I usually do things I enjoy that are relaxing, like hang with the kids, watch movies, reading, watch a ball game, and if the weather is nice (I live in Chicago), I'll go for a walk or bike ride (those are the best).
