In order to have a really interesting blog; one of the best practices is to pretend your blog is your best friend. Obviously this does come with a cost. You usually divulge personal information to close friends.

Perhaps you do not get that personal, but you get really, really close. You share with your blog like you would your very close friend.

You address your blog like you would your close "homie." Your keyboard, camera, or microphone, depending on the type of post you're uploading, acts as your best friend and you will always be able to provide quality content.

You may have a niche blog, on a topic your friends aren't into but you are...

Turn your blog into your new best friend and talk about that subject like you would your best friend.

What this does for you is gives you

• Personal and intimate writing
• And makes your readers or viewers more engaged in your content
