Life Is Too Short

It has been a rough seven days. Between my husband and I, we've had relatives and an old friend pass away. Besides the sadness, it has also brought me to think about my own life.

The bottom line is I need to stop procrastinating. I need to start living a healthier life (not just talk about doing it). I need to start exercising again and not quit, which is what I normally do.

I also need to work harder on my website (once again, procrastinating). This will give me a much happier life. I'm not just speaking of making money. I'm speaking of sharing my passion with others and doing what I enjoy. Sharing with others brings happiness to all involved. Life is too short to be anything but happy.

Live your dream before it's too late.
Find and share your passion before it's too late.
Simply put. Live the life you want to live. Now.

Cecelia 😊

Thanks, Cecelia, for your kind words and prayers. I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. The memories will be with us always.

Wise word Mick.

Sorry for your loss. I am mid 50s now and am at the age where people I know are passing, a friend from school passed last year, she was beautiful, inside and out, she was one of the "good" people, she left a family and husband. She became ill and passed quickly. I hadn't seen her for many years but when I found out it just seemed "wrong".

You are so right - Live your dream, stay active, love and be kind.

Regards
Mike

I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. I know what you mean, it is hard to fathom.
Thanks, Mike, I appreciate your kind words and support.

Mickey, sorry to hear about your loses.

I know how easy it is to get stuck in that rut and how hard it is to get yourself out of it again. Just do a bit at a time, take each day as it comes and a step at a time and you will get there again.

Just don't go at it hell for leather or you will just sicken yourself and be back at square one.

If you want a kick up the backside, I know someone who has rather large shoes and I am sure he will be willing to help lol.

I heard a saying the other day and I keep saying it to myself. "I am going to make the rest of my life, the best of my life". xxxx

Thanks for the great advice. I'm going at it a little at a time but I do need to get the train a rollin'. I'll let you know if I need that kick up the backside. 😉

Thanks, Cheryl, for your kind words and support. I'm going to keep that quote close to me. It's perfect.

Yeah, I liked it too. You are very welcome Mickey. Xx

So sorry to hear this but it sounds like you are trying to find a positive out of the situation. I have found it to be helpful to do so and since I got hurt and joined here I have a way more positive look at everything in my daily life now because of how motivated I get as I read posts here. Wishing you find happiness in the sadness and can celebrate the lives lost. Praying for you both.
Douglas
