Thanks for trying to help! The problem is that the "HOME" page is not actually listed under "Pages". It is listed in my All in One SEO. It is the area that my "Posts" go to. There has got to be a setting I can change to get rid of the "image place holder" that is at the top of my posts.
It looks like it's a theme thing. The best way around this would be to try a different theme Choose a New Theme ~Marion
from your wordpress dashboard select edit for that page, then click the placeholder and edit buttons will appear at the top of the placeholder, click the X and it will remove the placeholder or image and then save or update the page.
