Hi Michelle,
It is possible to change the color of your text without changing your theme. Sometimes the theme allows it if you click on "Customize" at the top of your WordPress admin. There may be an option for updating colors. I found a helpful tutorial here that may help you: Custom CSS: Change Font Color Site-Wide
Hi there, thank you for the suggestion. I went up that button and I have to select a color but there is no drop down from which to select a color.
You're welcome. Maybe that theme doesn't provide the option to do so. Maybe the video tutorial link I shared above may be an option for you to change the color using CSS.
You should be able to change the colours by going to Wordpress dashboard and going into appearance and colours

You should be able to customize from wordpress in the admin
or try tech support.
