Staying Positive

Those of us that have chosen blogging as a way of life need to stay positive in our frame-of-mind. People will read you blog because they are looking for inspiration. information, they like what you are saying and they relate to your messages.

No one want to be around those people or those situations that are negative and makes them feel less about themselves. We do like inspirational messages from people like Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuk and Brian Tracy. Why do we gravitate toward these speakers? These people constantly talk about what is possible. They make us believe in ourselves and tell our inner voice "if he or she can do it, so can I".

I was once told that to be successful one needs to associate with successful people. Does that mean we need to hang out with millionaires and people that only aspire to make lots of money? No, we need to associate with those that have a positive out look on life regardless of what their social status is. People that are cheerful and positive can influence and reinforce the way you think. Said another way, positive people and situations produces positive thoughts and actions. Positive people and situations reinforce how we feel about ourselves and allow us to reach for our dreams because we realize the impossible is possible.

All of us have the ability to choose which people we associate with and which environments we expose ourselves to. The United States Presidential campaign that is underway is an example of negativity on both sides of the aisle. Both parties have shown more negative behavior than positive. Voters are crazy with disdain for each other and the candidate that is not of their choosing. Meanwhile the media can report on nothing else but all of the bad things Trump has said or all of the bad things Hillary has done while in office. Everything is negative and I for one have chose to watch very little of this continuous negative circus.

Control you mind-set and stay positive in your actions and people will gravitate towards you. Spew negativity and they will turn away and will not resonate with what you have to say. Positive mind, positive outlook is the key to a successful life.
