Why do I need a face cream?

The body was designed to produce what it needs. To perform maintenance and repairs perfectly. To a pre-determined plan, so why do I need a face cream?

But do we still live in an ideal world where everything works perfectly in a natural way?

If you were to take a good long hard look at your environment and lifestyle. And examine, as a comparison, how life was centuries before the industrial age. You would notice significant differences.

From the food, we eat today, to the air we breathe, to the way we manage, or try to manage, our lives.

It has been said that about 70% of illnesses and diseases are lifestyle created. And you may be thinking we can not escape from our environment and lifestyle.

Well if about 70% of our ills and pains are caused or come about from our lifestyle. That is good news!

Because we, in fact, control our lifestyle and can make changes. In fact, we created our lifestyle to start with.

We can change many things about our lifestyle. In that day, overnight or over time.

Including our attitudes, how we think about things, our perception of circumstances and situations, and how we react to them.

We can move to another location. But maybe a lot of other people are thinking the same thing. And where we move to becomes just as crowded again.

We can change what and how we eat. We are what we eat. That can be a blessing or a curse.

We can change occupations or cut back on the number of hours we need to work. Unless we have become good little consumers and have ourselves in debt up to our eyeballs.

So what can we do?

When the food isn't as nutritious and processed than of centuries ago.

When the hours commuting to and from work adds up to more than our weekend hours off from the grind.

When we are living in a large city and motor vehicles are the mainstay for transport.

When the last gasp of fresh air was back in primary school.

Well, this is where products with extra goodies can come to our aid. To supplement our counteract deficencies in our diet and lifestyle. Also taking into account the aging process. Nature produced or man-made lotions and potions?

Those little extras we need to keep the tank just over half full and looking reasonable to go another mile we really aren't up for.

In a strange twist of fate, our modern industrial age is coming to our aid. Helping us to bite the bullet and grin and bear a little longer. We are able through advances in research and technology to harness and extract bits and pieces that are good for us.

Without having to chug down a cabbage and three lettuces for breakfast while trying to hold down that green concoction of liquid.

So a quality face cream is not such an airy-fairy idea. And when we can feel a little better about ourselves. That's the icing on the cake. All the better. For women and men.
